PV Inverter Customer Opinions & Requirements Survey - World - 2012

This survey report was undertaken by IMS Research after requests from inverter suppliers to gain a further insight into the decision making process of customers. The survey was created following intensive consultation with PV inverter suppliers and is based on responses from more than 400 installers, distributors and EPCs on a variety of topics including brand, inverter choice, product features, microinverters & power optimisers, future requirements, service & warranty and inverter pricing. The survey covers several major global markets with responses analysed by country and customer type for the following: installers, wholesalers/distributors, integrators/EPC/PPA and other types.

 

Some of the key questions to be answered by the survey are:

  • Which customers are willing to pay for advanced features?
